Board of Directors

How are directors chosen?

Directors are nominated by other directors or Foundation associates throughout the spring, and voted upon by the attendees during the annual meeting in May.

How long does a director serve?

Directors serve a three-year term, with elections held in May for a term to begin the following school year (July – June). Directors may not serve more than two consecutive terms.

How are officers selected?

A slate of officers are nominated by other directors or Foundation associates throughout the spring, and voted upon by the attendees during the annual meeting in May.

How can I become more involved with the Foundation?

Become a Board Member! Our Board members are parents (with kids or kids who have graduated), community members, teachers, anyone with an interest in public school education and a desire to help out and volunteer their time. Our meetings are once a month throughout the school year with a break in the Summer. Fill out an application here to become a UCEF Board Member.

If you are interested in supporting the Foundation, there are a variety of opportunities to get involved.  You can donate to UCEF, attend one of our fundraising events or join our Board.  Keep up to date with us on Facebook and on our website!
